What is UPay Online?
The enhanced Unicel UPay service is offered through partnership with Western Union Speedpay and it is designed to accommodate one time payments only. Customers will not be able to access their Unicel account information, view payment balances, or review payment histories.

Is UPay Online a free service?
Yes. This service is free.

Can I use UPay Online if I live outside the U.S.?
Yes. You can pay your bill from any location as long as you are able to log into Unicel.com via an internet connection.

What happens if the site is unavailable?

How do I know my personal information is secure?
Your Unicel account information will not be available through the new automated payment site provided by Western Union. When Unicel customers use the new UPay site, they will be linked via the strongest type of encryption used on the web, a 128-bit SSL (Secured Sockets Layer) to a Western Union Speedpay site, dedicated exclusively for Unicel customer payments. Every time Unicel customers make a payment they will have to repeat this process since no Unicel account information or payment information is saved in this application.

Will I receive any email notifications?
You will receive a separate email notifying you that your payment has been processed. The email will contain the payment details. You will also be able to print the confirmation page from the web site for your records.

Can I view my bill on-line?
You can not view your Unicel bill on-line.

PAYMENTS

What type of funding account do I need for UPay Online?
A checking account, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, ATM card can be used for funding your U-Pay Online payments.

When does my payment post?
If you make your payment on the website prior to 5:00 pm CST it will be posted on your account the next business day.

Can I obtain proof of payment?
You are able to print your payment confirmation page once the payment has processed. You will also receive an email confirmation that will list the payment details.

What happens if I set up a payment and do not have sufficient funds in my funding account?
If you do not have sufficient funds when your payment is scheduled to post, your bank may return the electronic payment and we will reverse it from your account. A $25.00 charge will be added to your account on all payments returned due to insufficient funds, closed accounts, or invalid account information.

Can I cancel a payment?
You are only able to cancel a payment on a checking account or a money market account if you contact us prior to 5:00 pm CST on the date your payment is scheduled to process. Credit card and ATM payments are processed immediately and can not be cancelled.

What happens if I am late making a payment?
You are able to make a payment towards your account after the due date; however you will be subject to any late charge provisions that apply to your account.

Can I schedule the date I want my payment to process?
You are able to schedule the date your payment is processed when you pay using a checking account or a money market account. Credit card and ATM payments are processed immediately and can not be scheduled to process on a future date.
